Dr. Sarah Sue Myers
Dr. Sarah Sue is a naturopathic doctor, healer, coach, teacher, writer and female entrepreneur of her business, Journey Home Healing. She honors meaningful connections, authenticity, therapeutic relationship, patient empowerment, creating a safe space, and cultivating a healing presence for those whom she works with. She is the doctor people go to who “don’t like doctors” or those who desire more than what the conventional medical world has to offer for medicine. The medicine comes in many forms. Dr. Sarah Sue provides local care, as well as care beyond, thanks to the tools that our virtual world offers. Dr. Sarah Sue also spreads her medicine by teaching classes on health and healing-related topics from anatomy, environmental medicine, organ system-based classes, plant medicine, earth stewardship to yoga workshops and new moon ceremony farm walks. She loves to bring in storytelling, creativity, and opportunities for connection in her “classrooms.” Other important roles that influence her work include mom, earth steward, herbalist, and a self-identified “practical witch.” She holds a passion for creating cohesion between medicine and magic. Transformed by motherhood, she is discovering a deeper way to BE, inspired by the humbling lessons that parenthood brings. Her mission is simple ~ sustainability, stewardship, being heart-centered, connection, and healing. Similar to the request of campers and outdoor recreationalists to “leave the place a little cleaner than how you found it,” Dr. Sarah Sue’s soul is calling her to make the world a better place than how she found it.
